Wrong .You can force-install whatever module you please.
If you're speaking about the Lucent one it won't work with kernels
higher than 2.2.14 anyway .And btw it didn't work with a 2.2.12 compiled
with
MODEVERSION ON .It does with one compiled with OFF.

not quite necesarilly since it will overwrite them anyway.Helpfull only
if
you don't recompile the same modules.
