/usr/src would likely be where the kernel source archive is
placed.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here.  I am able to download
the kernel source just fine.  Note that Storm is based on Debian
2.1, though, rather than 2.2.

You *can* but probably you can't through the package management
system.  After all, why would you want to?
