hey gang!
as a Storm Linux user, I had the desire to try out Wordperfect 8
(trial version). To do so I had to
apt-get udate
apt-get upgrade
and a couple other things. This worked well (although took about 4
hours with my sluggish 33.6 modem) but linux no longer boots up
in graphics mode as default. I have to do the startx thing. To get
to be able to boot up the way I installed the default to be, should I
edit the etc/inittab file? Or did I do something wrong while it was
compiling everything and I have more work to do? :) (Oh joy of
joys.)
thanks for whatever help. I still like storm but it is a bit quirky, it
seems.
