Yeah, I experienced the reconnect after disconnect issue (even though
the "reconnect after disconnect" check box was unchecked).  Didn't find
a solution as I wasn't too fussed about it.  Just went back to using a
ppp script I have and gkrellm.

Didn't try the minimise on connect option.

You might want to have a look at xisp, although there is no traffic
graph.
