Hmmm, did not know this.  I did hear however that a couple of the Debian
developers are now working for Storm.  Unconfirmed and may be utter
crap.

Indeed; always room for improvement.  I actually haven't had any trouble
so far.  The storm-dialer thingy was a pain, but nothing serious =)

I haven't been following Debian for that long, but it appears to me that
Storm is Debian with a graphical installer, which in theory makes it
easier.  However I don't like being told what packages I _need_ to be
installed.  Easy easy enough to remove the packages later.

Storm have sorted out a fair few things around the desktop and it just
works.  Cudos.
