I get a problem like this, in install program i have selected
keyboard BR-latin1, Brazilian Portuguese Keymap, I tested it
when i was instaling Storm linux and worked fine, after instalation
it does not work anymore ( worked as default keymap ).
If i try using kbdconfig, in tests it works, but not after exit kbdconfig.
So i run xf86setup ( i guess ) and now i can write in brazilian portuguese.

  Valerio.
