I'm using Stormix 2000, and trying to install pcmcia_cs. When following the
HOWTO for pcmcia_cs, it says to do a "make config". But when I do this, I'm
asked for the usr/src/Linux directory, or to point it to the Linux Source
Files.
This is where I get hung up. I don't know what to do, since if I accept the
default usr/src/linux, the make crashes.
Can anyone give me some tips on installing this package - like in a step by
step, newbie way?
I'm trying to set up a 3c574BT pcmcia nic card. My greenlight on the dongle
is on for 100 mbps, and so it seems like card services are working...or
something is working OK in the default install.
The computer is a Toshiba Tecra 8000 just in case you need to know, and I
need to use DHCP for the corporate LAN (but this is for personal use).
