I am currently recompiling SANE to work with my scanner. While running
the "configure" script for the SANE install I encountered the following.
I have tried installing a few gtk libs, but I am not sure which one I
need to get this to pass.

checking for gtk-config... (cached) no
checking for GTK - version >= 0.99.13... no
*** The gtk-config script installed by GTK could not be found
*** If GTK was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GTK_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to gtk-config.
disabling DC210 backend (failed to find JPEG library)
disabling PINT backend
.."
I have scoured my directories for the script "gtk-config" which it seems
to be looking for, but cannot find it. What JPEG lib is it looking for?
I have libjpeg62 installed?
PS- Is there a script I can edit which will let me choose which kernel
modules are loaded at startup?
