I compiled the latest kernel (2.4-test12) so I can do DRI with my video
card. The kernel source and include tree is interesting and I want to know
how it maps to /usr/include.
It seems the files in /usr/include/linux have different dates than the ones
in /usr/src/linux/include/linux.
After compiling the kernel, I did a make install. Does anyone know if this
step copies all the kernel headers to their proper location now? Should I
worry about out of date headers or move things around myself?
What's the status of all this now. What files in the linux kernel tree
should be in /usr/include?
Thanks.
