This may not be related to the card itself but it might also be a factor of
the refresh rates for your monitor. Double check that you have the right
refresh rates set in your /etc/X11/XF86Config. Quite frankly the best thing
to do is to switch to a console (ctrl-alt-f2 for example). Log in as root
and kill X. Then make sure you have XF86Setup installed (apt-get install
xf86setup) and use it to set up X for you.

That said, it might be that you need a newer version of X. Storm comes with
3.3.6 and I can't remember if that card is supported or not. I'm sure it's
supported in X 403 though.
