"Or - you could go for serverworks chipset. I saw a good mobo on it
(sorry - cant recall even manifacturer), where all the extras were
left off, but still was 64bit slot and dual pci bus - in your case
this could be the ultimate - if you decide to really pay about 750-800
for mobo..."

If I was going to payt 750-800, I was just fork out the dough for the
Tyan k7 thunder due out w/n the next 60 days, (dual socket A). Atleast
then I would get a lot of cpu for my $$$, even if I did have to pay an
arm & a leg for the m/b.

I don't want ot spend much more than $300ish CAD ($200 USD) on a m/b.
What about a dual cely? I a not a cely fan at all, but just was curious
what everyone else's opinion is. I was told celeron's really lag when
it comes to compile time, which I spend most of my time doing.

The exact same specs of the dual p3 asus board, in an Abit model is
$20CAD more money. Is it worth it to go with the Abit? Note: that it
is the same chipset.

Thanks for reply Karlis, would love to hear more from others.
