I have an Actiontec pcmcia card that works with Linux. It is a green
card(color)
and is based on the Lucent Venus chipset and was NOT detected by Stormix
hail beta at the time, mostly because all pcmcia suport was badly broken
in the beta. However the modem works .
Now I took a quick look at the card on Actiontec's website and the card
there
hasd a different color than mine.Send to the list the model number of
your card
as found on the back of the carditself and we can compare it with mine.
I'll have a look at work and see exactly how I made mine work(it was a
long time ago).
The site lists the card I have.
