One 20GB ide hd.
note: I am using an old m/b, so dos/windows can only see 8GB, during
install linux saw all 20GB. (I am not sure how relevant this).

Pre-screwin-around:

hda4: 18.775GB on /home

I wanted to get rid of hda3 and maximize hda4. I used fdisk to delete
hda3. But I could not figure out how to get ext2resize to resize hda4
as to utilize all free space on drive (the values of 1024 get me screwed

up, and on top of that manufactures never report the true size of the
disk). So I used fdisk to delete hda4, then I remade hda4 with fdisk
using the defaults given. I thought this would make it the max size,
but tonight I went to transfer files onto hda3 (via nfs) and was told
that there was no space left on device after 100MB had been transfered.

Now I have:
hda1: 125MB swap
hda2: 1GB ext2 on /
hda3: 100MB ???

What I want is:

hda1: 125MB swap
hda2: 1GB ext2 on /
hda3: 18.875GB on /home

I know I could do this through reinstall, but I would rather not. Right

now I have nothing valuable on /hda3. I don't mind if I have to trash
it.

I am sure there is a simple sol'n.
Any help would be great.
