Hi gang! I am forwarding this from our friend Daryl. He's having
issues with e-mailing the list and a couple other things. If anyone
can give him a hand, that would be great.

Todd,
I have been trying to post a message on the Stormix mailing list
since
Tuesday and have had no luck getting through. I can Ping
mail.stormlinux.com without any problems, but when I send the message
it wnats to use mail.stormix.com which is not pingable at this time.
I
notice that you have not had the same problem. Could you possibly
post
this for me and/or give me a reference as to where to look to solve
my
problem. Here goes:
1.) I am trying to install several programs that are GUI based and I
keep running into the same problem. I am using the command
./configure
to compile the programs as per the instructions and then I get an
error that says:
Checking for X...configure...error: Can't find X includes...
and then it stops. Where do I go to set up the X includes variables
so
that the program finds them? Please help me. I am running Storm Linux
2000 off the internet and purchased the Firewall software which
includes a previous build of Storm Linux.
2.)Second Question: When installing Progeny I can not get it to boot
at all. The options I am choosing are to use another bootloader
(would
like to use Lilo) and I am not setting that particular hd as bootable
that I am istalling progeny on. I have Windows 98 on hda1 and Storm on
hdb1 and hdb2 as swap drive. I have since mounted the partition that
has Progeny on it and I can see all the directories and files. It's on
hdb5. What can I change to get it to be one of the options through
Lilo.
Thanks for the help,
