Design challenges for biomass fired appliances.

Affordability, functionality, and durability are just a few challenges.

Another design challenge for stoves is the various openings and how to close
them.

Openings and closures are used for, combustion air controls, doors, fuel
hatches and ports, for ash removal, and for exhaust outlets.

Openings and closures that are affordable, practical, rugged, durable and easy
to use could be useful for many different stove designs.

The stove body is the easy part. It is the openings and closures that can be a
problem.
