Hello stovers,

I have had and am still having trouble finding statistics on the number of
people using charcoal for cooking in the world.

For some reason, it is very hard to find data about that. I couldn't find
anything in the GACC data or in the Practical Action Energy Outlook. There
are statistics on people using "solid fuels" or "traditional biomass", but
nothing specifically on charcoal. Maybe it will appear in the "Data and
statistics" section of the GACC website, which has been "Coming soon" for
quite some time already.

Maybe there's more info in the IEA World Energy Outlook?

Does anyone know where to find such info?

Cheers,

Xavier
