Lanny,

Thanks in advance for that donation of your expertise and talent. We await the documentation.

New thought: Perhaps you might want to come to the "stove and biochar camp" that will be held at The Farm in Summertown, in south central Tennessee, which is more convenient for you. It is on Labor Day weekend plus 2 days more for those who want to stay on. Bob Fairchild, Albert Bates, and I are the organizers/presenters. And we would certainly find time for you to present to all who are present.

Paul, and fellow stovers,
I would like to make a contribution to the stove development community and make this design free. There is no new technology here just basic fabrication techniques with minimum equipment. I could do an instruction video or if I could find the funding to travel to Oregon, I could do a workshop. One thing that I did not show that makes it function so well is the bypass cool air feature that allows cool air to be drawn across the bottom of the pan for temperature control. The 6" chimney has the capacity to provide the combustion air to the burner and pull enough bypass air across the bottom of the pan to hold steady temps.
This may be my favorite design, it just wants to cook!
This pan will work with any burner that will power it even a camp fire.

    Lanny,

VERY nice!!!! And the tilt to drain the oil etc is a very
    useful touch!!

And you are teaching me how to cook!!

Are you making the Exhausted Pan Module (EPM????) to sell to
others? I would be interested in purchasing one. Price? When
available? And options for attaching it to different heat sources?

Or will you be providing (selling?) design plans for others to
    make it?

I designed this "Exhausted Pan Module" for my School Lunch
Cooker so the stove can perform more cooking task. In Haiti,
beans are fried with oil and spices to make them more palatable.
Being a 22" diameter pan, it is too large to handle easily
so I hinged it to tilt, so it will dispense, and to clean.
Also if the burner you are using is not controllable and the
pan gets too hot, and starts to scorch the oil, you can tilt
the pan open to cool and bleed of heat from the burner.
This pan is very functional and will work with any burner
        even a camp fire.
When flash/wok cooking, you use a larger fire and tilt the
pan down to quickly cook and tilt open to stop and clean. It
is easier to use than a wok.
The short chimney provides extra draft and exhaust the fumes
up out of the cooking space. Air pollution can a problem even
        when cooking outside.
I have found that if you can exhaust up to 2 meters or more
the fumes will clear the cooking space. I am still amazed at
        how well it works.
In My 3rd video I demonstrate the School Lunch Cookers
        outside, uncovered, all weather capabilities.
