I found my little Weber-based rocket to be somewhat under-powered, but
there are some tweaks I can make without a major rebuild.
I didn't get the lower grate with mine (got it cheap from surplus), so I
put a spare brick over the hole. It seems to do a pretty good job. I
believe Steve mentioned in an earlier post that he uses lava rock.
Steve, did you put the lava rock directly over the hole, or did you put it
on a grate?
