Yes, as it is stated the wage is "AVERAGE". So you take the few decent paying jobs at Wal-Mart and put them in with the other low level paying jobs 90% plus and you come up with the $17,000.00 dollar figure.
Who is going to live on the amount. Housing, food and clothing are going to eat this plus more up.
Wal-Mart contributes to the bottom line of the investor and does it on the backs of the working stiff.
