The more I think about the stadium location the more I think it is flawed in so many ways most of which have already been discussed.
HOWEVER.... one that hasn't been discussed is the Stench from the Ethanol Plant just a mile or so from where they want to build this thing.
We have heard that it can be smelled as far away as Merriam Park, Como area, and even Erik Down near the proposed site has said (if I recall correctly) that at times even he has smelled it, and he is in a very protected area in his depression in the topography of the area.
I wonder how long it will take those that attend an OPEN AIR stadium to decide that frankly I don't know if it's gonna stink (not just the team), but from the ethanol plant, and make it very unpleasant for those that attend games, and just show up for games, nor buy tickets in advance. Might end up being a go down and if it smells ok then you buy your ticket and go in rather than the season tickets and advance sales that they so heavily rely on for income.
