Beautiful/Wal-mart. Citizen involvement/suburb. Many people view these word associations as the ultimate oxymorons. But they're reality in a place where residents worked outside the big box to create a big box that works. The journey to the majestic Wal-Mart began three years ago. Developers invited residents of the area to learn about their proposal for a valuable prairie parcel.
