I think that the discussion about satire and stereotyping in our forum has pretty much run its course. I think it was fair to leave this discussion open and allow folks to have their say.
However, it is time to take this discussion offline as it really isn't on-topic for our forum. In addition, parts of this discussion are getting personal, which is also inappropriate for our forum.
I encourage participants to continue to discuss this topic offline and I welcome any (offline) comments on the topic, myself.
I will summarize the discussion by saying:
1) We all need to be responsible about what we post
to this forum and take the feelings of other
participants into consideration. 2) We all will be offended from time to time, by what
others post in our forum. This cannot be
prevented - and probably shouldn't be.
Don't be afraid to use the DELETE key pro-actively. 3) Keep in mind - that satire and humor are
very tricky in a forum like this. Much more
so than in person. They are not against list
rules, but I advise care in using them as
