I am not sure keeping Home Depot out was such a great
"victory".

I'm somewhat in agreement with Dan on this issue, but not completely.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. For me, its not so much about whether HOME DEPOT or anyone else builds on that corner as it is an issue of how they build.

I never saw any plans, so I can't pass judgement on them, but if HOME DEPOT is willing to build a pedestrian friendly building that is appropriate for a potentially vital transit corner, then I'm ok with them. But, please lets do something more appropriate at that corner than place a huge parking lot on it.

Keep in mind, that we do have a Menards on the way and in a much more appropriate location (old Knox's site). Or have these plans run into trouble?

Best wishes,

Tim Erickson
