Last week I noticed that several parents on this list are in the process of choosing a kindergarten for their child. In fact, my wife and I are involved in this decision as well.

If anyone is interested, I'd like to set-up an opportunity for those parents who are interested to meet, share information, and talk about school options. I'm envisioning an informal discussion/exchange.

We can all bring experiences we've had with older children, school visits, and what we've heard from neighbors to the group and exchange info and ideas.

I'll look for a site for the meeting, depending upon the level of interest and who responds. We'll try and find someplace where there is space for children, so you don't have to find a baby sitter. This will be relatively informal. Please, note which of the following dates will work for you - we'll try to accommodate as many people as possible. If there is enough response, we can schedule more than one meeting. NOTE: The elementary school application deadline is Friday, March 12.

(Note: Parents looking for a school for an older child are also welcome)

Possible Meeting Times:
-----------------------

_____ Thurs. March 4, 7:00 PM

_____ Mon. March 8, 7:00 PM

_____ Tues. March 9, 7:00 PM

If you have comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at:

Feel free to share this with other parents.

Best wishes,
