Today, we'll be slowing bringing our 'official' discussion about the school district budget to a close. Individual participants may carry on the discussion as long as they choose. I'll continue to post new information as I run across it and when I think it might be of general interest to the forum.

In response to several comments and questions about area superintendents, the school district did provide us with the following job description. I suspect, that this is very general, and that each area superintendent has specific responsibilities that are not listed here.

I have been told, that while the title of "area superintendent" is new since Pat Harvey arrived in the district, that these positions did replace previously existing administrative positions with similar responsibilities and a comparable pay scale. If anyone has anything else to share on this point, please do do.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to post them. If we can, we'll try and get some answers to share with the entire group.
