Pretty much my subject line sums it up. If someone wants to drop by unannounced and vent a complaint to their elected official, find their office and do so. Going to their home should be off limits and should an unwelcome constituent press the issue, the elected official has the same rights of any citizen to call the police to remove the trespasser.
I'm someone who is usually very much in favor of giving a receptive ear to people's complaints. I think a lot can be learned and fixed by listening to the people unhappy with something, but going to someone's home unannounced is not something I think people should do (anymore than I would want someone from this list showing up at my door to argue about my opinion of I-35E).
