http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/news/local/8108857.htm
BY ROBERT INGRASSIA

"Latino and American Indian community leaders in St. Paul are pressing the City Council to add more minorities to a newly formed committee that will help choose the city's next police chief.

The 15-member panel, which began meeting last month, has no Latino or American Indian members. There are 11 white members, three blacks and one Asian serving on the committee."
