The League of Women Voters (LWV) is looking for St.Paul residents to
participate in a town hall forum, "The New Minnesotans" that will be taped
on April 1, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at Twin Cities Public Television, 172 East
Fourth Street, St. Paul. The program will be shown on Channel 17, on April
4. The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity to react to "The
New Americans" PBS series to be shown on Channel 2 March 29, 30, 31 and to
continue the conversation begun by the LWV Immigration Study. As part of
the town hall forum there will be time for the audience to ask questions,
tell a story or make a comment.

The size of the studio will limit the number of people we can accommodate
therefore we need you to fill out an application and answer a few questions
to help us ensure that the audience represents the diversity of our
community.

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2004,and applicants will be
notified by March 26, 2004 whether they have been selected to participate.

For more information and to apply to participate in this important event,

Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested in participating.

Thanks,
Ady
