Index of SPPS Budget Discussion http://www.e-democracy.org/stpaul/spps-posts.html _________________________________________ No you are not missing anything. Even more astonishing is that the State hired a consultant to do a re-use study of the building and the consultant recommended that the building be refurbished. The report did not even consider the historic value of the building nor the importance of working to maintain what is good about the character of University Ave. They just looked at the numbers and the numbers said, remodel, refurbish.
Frankly this all feels like people who do not care one whit about the character of the inner city proposing to tear down a historic building which could be very serviceable and continue to make a solid contribution to our city.
