I now operate a battery powered lawnmower - offset by the fact that I have a honking big chipper. I have lots of trees. It allows me to handle much more brush without burning it. Burning wood is a significant source of organic particle pollution. I would get a battery powered device if made. We need to change large scale sources of pollution such as the Seventh street monstrosity. But we also need to change what we do personall. > Well this just doesn't fly in the face of several things. How about considering autmobiles and trucks. Perhaps, there might be a few of those operating this time of year. And just yesterday I had my gas powered chipper operating crunching up winter plant debris. > Second is the statement from the MPCA when questioned about the need > to control emissions from things like Coal Burning plants in MN said > that most of our pollution comes from other states.
