> "We urge all supporters of transit in the metro area > to drive to work at the legal minimum speed of 40 > miles per hour," said the Rev. Mark Horst, senior > pastor at the church. "We will share the pain with > the working poor and the disabled until the buses are > back." Atta boy Rev.! Way to get the public on your side baby. I especially like how he works in the progressive model of "sharing the pain of the poor" by making other people do the suffering! Bravo! > As you drive to work, SLOWLY, imagine that you > are are dragging a heavy wooden cross and that the jerk behind you honking his horn is a Roman soldier > whipping you. Or better yet, you could imagine that you are dragging a heavy intravenious drip stand behind you as nurse ratchet herds you back to your quiet room. Makes as much sense and is much closer to the reality of the situation! Seems to me that it's time the boys realized that with the comming of summer, any opportunity they had of winning their courageous battle against reality has come to a close. As anyone knows, we, the enlightened, progressive citizens of St. Paul are even now getting our compact cars ready for summer storage and shining up our trusty bicycles and pulling out our official DOT approved helmets to protect our enlarged craniums. Exhaust fumes from those nasty busses dull our razor sharp minds, inhibiting our ability to think up bold new ways to force others to do good deeds for the poor while simultainiously communing with Mother on our way to the co-op. Better take the deal that's on the table and run. TSwift Cherokee Park __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
