I wasn't gonna get into this, but since it might prove that I am not totally out of tune with many of my left-leaning friends on the list, I have decided to chime in. Is a power pole any uglier with lost pet or garage sale notices tacked onto them? I don't think so. However..... A COMMERCIAL entity should NOT abuse this resource. You wanna advertise? PAY for it! I suppose the 1st amendment can be argued somehow, but if you are a business, advertising is a business expense and I think St Paul should collect all the College Pro signs and send them a bill for $75 each. I googled them and they are BIG business! Cheers!
