St. Paul E-Democracy Discussion about
DISTRICT COUNCILS IN ST. PAUL
Brewery Cafe - 945 W 7th - April 14th - 7-9 PM
==============================================I received word yesterday that the Investigation of Ramsey County Sheriff Bob "Give me the Cards" Fletcher has been completed by the St Paul Police Department. Apparently it was completed last Friday and turned over to the Prosecuting Attorney for another county (the officer couldn't seem to recall which county it was turned over, but I am sure that the Ramsey County Prosecutor knows).
I eagerly await a copy of the report and when obtained will certainly let people know the jist of it, and maybe put a copy of it up online so you don't have to spend $6 in order to get a copy from the Police Department. BUT if your in a rush to find out what it has to say you can contact them and get a copy.
Those of us who took on the Sheriff, you know us smermy political attackers of the sheriff (or so he says), have achieved the only victory we could have gotten with a petition drive.
Had we went forward with our Petition Drive it would have ended up in the hands of the Supreme Court Chief Justice (a friend of Ramsey County Pros Attorney), and given the speed at which she released the decision regarding the Ramsey County Compost site (over a year from being heard) we could have expected that even if we had collected all the signatures needed it would have who knows when before an investigation was completed. So Kudoo's to the St Paul Police Department for their must faster investigation of the matter of the Sheriff and his seizure of the cards at a forum.
Speaking of which wasn't MS REITER going to sue? Doesn't seem to be any court filings yet.
Wasn't there supposed to be some property deal that made it possible for her to claim her fathers home as her own? Ramsey County Property Tax records have no indication of any such transaction taken place in their records.
Kinda really makes you wonder doesn't it?
