Under the circumstances, my suggestion is not to run. An
additional major commitment might cause your other projects
to suffer. If the board member is someone who is enacting
policies that you do not care for or if you think you can do a
better job, go for it. To engage in an election simply to engage
in one is probably not in the best interest of those involved.
