As part of the Earth Week programming that is going on at Macalester this
coming week, the Mac Amnesty International chapter will be having an
Environmental Justice coffee house on Friday afternoon, April 23rd from
4:30-6:30pm. If the weather is nice, it will be outside of Ruminator (next
to the school) and if it rains, it will be in the basement of the
Weyerhaueser Chapel on campus.
I would love for this coffee house to be an opportunity for Macalester
students who are interested in issues of environmental justice or
eco-feminism to mingle with local community activists who share the same
passion. I would love it if you could come and also feel free to forward
this invitation on to anyone who you think might be interested.
