RE: GSE building
it won't require too much money to rip down all the ugly remains.
We might be getting a bit ahead of ourselves, but two thoughts come to mind - about where this discussion might go.
1) There is general agreement that GSE stinks, but do local residents really think that the building is ugly?
What about the historical value of the facilities?
Wouldn't there be some effort to preserve the buildings for alternative uses?
2) We have some experience in what it takes to redevelop a former Brewery in St. Paul.
Can anyone provide an update on the Stroh's/Hamm's site?
