A reminder to everyone that there will be two community forums to meet the finalists for Police Chief (see below). These forums will be to solicit questions from the community that all finalists will answer. They are not intended to be a place for personal comments or testimonials about any of the finalists. Therefore:
******************************************************** The Chief of Police Selection Committee has gotten feedback that citizens would like an avenue to submit comments or testimonials on the Chief finalists. The Committee has designed the upcoming forums on May 3 and 4 for panel-style questioning rather than for comments or testimonials. However, the Committee wants to give citizens an opportunity to submit feedback, so they are announcing the following:
**************************** The Chief of Police Selection Committee will be accepting comments or testimonials from citizens about the Chief of Police Finalists by email ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or fax (651-292-7656) through Monday, May 3, 2004 at noon. ****************************
The community meetings are:
May 3, 2004 at Harding High school from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
May 4, 2004 at Humboldt Jr. High from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
