In fairness, I'm not sure if the bar had anything to do with the stolen
topiaries,.

Well then Pawn shops certainly have nothing to do with the ACTUAL theft of items that come into them either then do they? Fact is looks like the thief might have known of a good location to get rid of these items where not many questions would be asked about such rare items being sold so cheaply??

Yet the argument always is that Pawn Shops promote theft, cause by the time most people notice that their garage has been broken in either doesn't report it or doesn't have an id tag for the lawnmower, snowblower, or fishing pole and gear...

Fact is that this bar, and I know it well (and have had to actually help save someone who was getting the snot beat out of them by two others within the past year), has been a problem for years. Between the Dope Smoking both inside and outside the bar, the arguments and downright brawls that have broken out into the neighborhood, I am glad that the council is watching it. They might want to ask the police to make some undercover stops in later in the evening more toward closing and see what they find out.... I bet they will be surprized.

but we did limit their license so they could prove themselves to
the neighborhood first.
Not a particularly good start..

That is a good thing that I am glad the city is listening to the neighborhood on issues such as this, cause for far too long has ignored our problems.
