What's New In Your Neighborhood?

As someone who sees this Wallgreens almost daily, I want to know
what part of this project is the transit stop? The only thing I can
envision is on the corner and that would be an unlikely place for
one.

Help me, having been a part of the neighborhood process that
brought Walgreens to White Bear and Larp. we are pleased to have
them there. The developer for Walgreens met with the neighborhood
early and often. Walgreens agreed to locate the building close to
White Bear to create a streetscape, added additional windows at the
District Council's request and built in a transit stop.
The design standards in the Hillcrest neighborhood of Saint Paul
were developed before Maplewood's and Maplewood mimicked our
requirements!
The Walgreens replaced a pawn shop that greated people entering the
City of Saint Paul with a large sign that read "We Buy Guns" and two
other cement block buildings. It may not be the Trump Tower, but
for those of us that have been trying to breath new life into White
Bear Avenue it is a big step forward.
