I have been taking publi policy workshop for past 8 weeks. All of us students are
expect to follow up certain poilicy that concern us for the next two months. I have
decided to work on policy concerning about artist district because Im visual artist
myself and have long wanted to live in that area, either Minneapolis or St.Paul .But
decided not to because I know developers are hoping to flush them out , citing the
land vaule are much too great to support low income artists. So I would like to
persue that matter and maybe introduce a bill to city preventing developers to chase
artists out of downtown area. If you guys have any ideas what I should do next, please
contact me. This is my learning curve. Thank you.
