Dear City of Saint Paul: You know that times are tough. I lost my job a year ago, was unemployed for a while, and now am working for a bit less than half what I used to. So I'm pleading hardship case. This is what I could use from you: Property Taxes: Frankly, these are a load. I'd rather not pay them for a while, if you don't mind. Water Bill: Could you just put this on the tab as well? Lawn Mowing: I'm kind of busy trying to make money, so I'll skip this. I understand you won't enforce the ordinances. Snow Shoveling: See above. Misc: Yeah, I may need to overhaul a few cars in the driveway. Once again, it's a hardship case, so I know you won't mind. So it's a commercial business and all, it's not a big one. Thanks for your consideration in this matter. I know I'm not asking for anything Gopher State Ethanol hasn't gotten, so it's not a big deal or anything.
