Yesterday, David Evertz posted a question on our St. Paul Job Shadow Site addressed to employers, non-profit managers, business owners, and potential job shadow hosts. This is one of the critical questions of our event.

Please, take a look at the question and if you have any comments or feedback, please follow the link provided and post a response.

----------- Question to the Community --------------

I would love to have a potential Job Shadow provider
speak to the issue of what you want from a Job shadow
program.
What would it take to make it easy for you to say yes
to providing a Job shadow? Are there some key pieces
of information that would help? Do you want to be
contacted ahead of time and be put on a list? Or is
it OK for students to make 'cold calls' looking for a
placement?
If you are a larger organization, would it be easier
to set a special day for several Job Shadows at your
location? Or is it better to space them out over the
course of a year?
Would you rather work with one school, or several
schools? Why?
Answers to these questions will greatly help design
the best program.
Thanks!
