I don't know if any council persons are lurking.  But as a dedicated user of the
farmer's market I have known that meters several blocks away from the market are
enforced on Saturdays. Have been as long as I have been going - seven eight
years now.   Whether it is an intelligent policy is another matter but it does
not seem to have stopped shoppers from coming.  The old market was always jammed
during high vegetable season
