Does this mean we have to watch what we say here or did Karlson contact Mary for permission to quote her? I know this is a public forum and appreciate all efforts toward civility/productive, community-building discussion, but am wondering if knowing a quickly written e-mail could be quoted in the press at any time might cause hesitation. Am personally much more interested in forthright discussion around substantive issues than tip toeing.
