Interesting that the reasons Kelly has given for his
craven endorsement of Bush have nothing to do with the
administration's treatment of cities. One would have
thought that the Mayor would have given some
consideration to factors related to his position as a
city leader in making a decision like this.

Of course, there is no reason at all to think that the
reasons Kelly stated are the real ones. Still, you'd
think he could have come up with something better to
say than that he'd read a rude bumper sticker.

This has Carl Rove written all over it. Pawlenty is
under great pressure to deliver Minnesota for Bush.
What has the Governor done or promised Kelly in return
I wonder.
