Once again, Saint Paul Regional Water Services is opening the doors of the Highland Water Tower in conjunction with Highland Fest. The tower will be open Saturday and Sunday, August 14-15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are invited to
climb the 151 steps to the observation deck at the top of this historic landmark. You'll get stunning views of the Twin Cities area and the Mississippi River. (On a clear day, you can see the Koch Refinery in Rosemount.) The Open House presents excellent opportunity for photographs and a fun family outing. As always, the event is free, and water utility staff will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions.
