Although they are operating at reduced capacity, because of corn prices, or lack of the state raising the ethanol subsidy
they are in fact still operating. With their chapter 11 filing they will continue to do so.

The simptoms I experience now are more intermetiant, and less intense. Which is nice, but I still don't own a piece of resadential property, instead my property rights are still being violated by GSE via noise levels from them, and what I would consider another consiperitor that little AT&T building which I can only assume is GSE's ups(unitinerruptable power supply). Because even when the power goes out in the entire neigborhood, that little building continues to output a constant 70 dbc hum, which if I spend more than 5 minutes outside drives the ringing in my ears nuts.

I hope if anyone buys it they part out the building and ship the equipment somplace else, but since GSE claims they have been loosing money all along, or barley making money, It seams as if some people / corporations value tax write offs more then, the the niegborhood.

The main problem now since they are distiling intermitantly, and with out the corn theres no stink, or significantly less stink, how do we know when its safe to open our windows. Maybe we can get GSE to put up a weather ball when its green, the air is clean, when its white stay outa sight (was hoping for a better second ryme)

On 2004-12-12 between 01:00 - and 03:00 they may have actualy shut down, or at least a deeper for of standby my ears loved it, and hope for more of the same

as always you can check out the noise readings at http://www.tnss.com/noise_stink/1toc.php, the dates are displayed in ISO format but the date box on the form will accept other formats.
