Thanks, Mike.

They must mean Community "Computer" Technology, as opposed to, say,
Nanotechnology, or Biotechnology. I cannot just sit here and let the
Computer folks take over the word. ;-)

I am passing this on because of the interests many people in the forum
have in
tehnology and community engagement:

SPNN is part of the Community Technology Empowerment Project, a project
that will be
placing AmeriCorps members at community sites in Saint Paul and
Minneapolis to build
the capacity of organizations that are community technology centers. 25
AmeriCorps members
will start service this fall in the first year of a three-year project.
It's an effort
to increase techology access and training, and media services and to
underserved communities
in the Twin Cities.

I've provided a link for information for community based organizations
that are interested
i being a host-site, and also for people who are interested in serving
with AmeriCorps:
http://www.c-can.org/index.html.

And for Tim's sake, here's my question for people on the forum:

Is there a Digital Divide in Saint Paul?
