In preparation for that discussion - I would encourage folks to check out the Education Achievement Gap Idea Generator that MPR is currently promoting. In addition to the idea generator, they have a great deal of content about the Achievement Gap on their web site and will host a town hall discussion of the issue on October 18th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Penumbra Theatre in St. Paul. The meeting is free and open to the public.
