Thanks for the detail Lori! I wish they'd post these things online when they release them so we could read direct. Haven't seen the report so can't comment, but do know the elementary schools most affected by mobility are neighborhood schools. Since mobility tied to both achievement and community-based issues (living wages, life cycle housing, transportation, etc.) an appropriate topic for forum. Learned last week that some suburbs (Maple Grove cited in conversation, but not documented, so can't confirm) have residential housing requirements described in acres - not particularly suited to early / later stages of life. Zoning requirements define income levels of "who can move to town." Domain of Met Council, but seems life cycle guidelines should be established for all metro communities. Wonder myself how St Paul housing stock stacks up. Know we're building units in the thousands, but for what target homebuyer? Will what we have/what we're building support all life stages? --Jennifer Armstrong Payne/Phalen _____________________________________________ To Join: St. Paul Issues Forum Rules Discussion Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
